Ten Penny Players has been a 501c3 (not for profit organization) for thirty six years.

Barbara Fisher, co-director of Ten Penny Players, has served on the board for, and provided technical assistance to other nonprofit arts and disability rights organizations.

Richard Spiegel has provided technical assistance for computer based literacy programs and is a curriculum development specialist.
